Induction This article describes the installation and configuration of Veritas foundation suite, Emulex HBA, and adding SAN disk for Oracle storage. Requirement: Initially we have configured Sun E450 with Solaris 8 for Oracle database server. It used local disk and Storage Array for storage, we used Solaris Disk suite software for OS (rootdisk) and data mirring.
